Everything in here, and what each part won't do

The debts come first and the rest is built around them.

The illustrations on this page are rendered from sample data by the app's own components. Every figure is an example.

Debt payoff

Every card and loan on one timeline, with a date at the end of it. Snowball and avalanche side by side on your actual balances, extra payments that roll into the next debt as each one clears, and a warning when a payment can't cover its own interest.

Cards and loans are treated differently, because they behave differently: a card's minimum is worked out month by month the way your issuer does it, and a loan is asked what you pay. A promotional APR can carry an end date, and the plan switches to the regular rate on that date; deferred interest isn't modelled.

Budget on real dates

Built on your pay dates and due dates rather than a calendar month, so the question it answers is what's left before the next paycheck, not what's left in September. Annual expenses and sinking funds sit alongside the monthly ones, so the insurance bill in March stops being a surprise.

Safe to spend

One number: what's left after the bills that haven't come out yet. Set limits and it tells you the daily figure that keeps you inside them.

It knows what your connected accounts know. Cash you spend outside them is invisible until you enter it.

Spending that sorts itself

Transactions arrive categorized, and your rules keep them that way. Anything the rules can't place goes to a review queue instead of into a wrong category quietly. Recurring charges are detected and listed, including the ones you've forgotten.

Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Connect the assistant you already use and ask about your own numbers in plain language. My AI Fin App does the arithmetic and hands over the result; the assistant explains it. Read-only unless you turn on editing, no payment or transfer tools, revoke whenever you like.

This is the only part of the app where anything outside it sees your data, and it only happens when you connect it.

If I put an extra $150 a month on the Visa, when is it gone?

August 2028. At $150 a month on top of the minimum, the Rewards Visa ($6,240 at 24.99% APR) is gone in 24 months instead of 258 at the minimum alone, and you pay $1,689 in interest instead of $11,860.
